			<title>SoYouKnow workshops in Portugal</title>

			<description>SocialDesignSite has conducted three more SoYouKnow events. Two members of the SocialDesignSite team, Gl&amp;oacute;ria Costa and Estuardo Calder&amp;oacute;n moderated 3 events in Portugal: Lisbon and Matosinhos.



The first SoYouKnow took place on May 13-15, 2010 at ESAD Design School (http://www.esad.pt/pt/)  in Matosinhos, Portugal. It had the participation of one international keynote, Lars Diederichsen from Instituto Meio (http://www.institutomeio.org/), S&amp;atilde;o Paulo, and one portuguese social entrepreneur, Frederico Lucas, founder of Novos Povoadores (http://www.novospovoadores.pt/) . The second day of workshop took place on the coworking space The Hub - Porto (http://porto.the-hub.net/public/)). The participants felt inspired and shared creative design solutions for everyday life  problems.







The second SoYouKnow workshop was conducted on May 17, 2010 in Lisbon, at the coworking space Betalab (http://www.betahaus.de/). Enhancing the positive outcomes of being involved in a coworking spac, the participants delivered solutions on how to help blind people to be more integrated in society.










 







The third SoYouKnow workshop was conducted on May 20-22, 2010 at FBAUL - Fine Arts University of Lisbon (http://www.fba.ul.pt). We had the participation from Ana Filipa Pias from the voluntary design project Design &amp;eacute; preciso (http://www.designepreciso.com.pt/)  and Miguel Alves Martins, from Social Entrepreneurship Institution (http://www.ies.org.pt). discussion on 
social design at the Kunst Apotheke Salon Session 6 organised by SideBySide Studio (http://www.sidebysidestudio.net/) (I-Wei Li) in 
Berlin. Kunst Apotheke Salon is open to cultural workers who want to 
receive 
critical input, creative stimulation and constructive feedback in a safe
and 
friendly space with international colleagues. A visualisation of the 
conversation at the salon and the notes of participants will follow.

presented at the exhibition DREAM FOR A CAUSE - Social Design between Utopia
and Reality from November 4 until December 12, 2009 in Vienna. The event was also the occasion
to run a SoYouKnow workshop facilitated by Suk-Han Tang and Gl&amp;oacute;ria Costa on November 12, 2009. It invited participants to reflect on social design and focused
on the practical issues for a successful social design project. For more

			<title>SocialDesignSite conducted two SoYouKnow workshops</title>

			<description>SocialDesignSite  is proud to announce that it has conducted two
first SoYouKnow events. The first SoYouKnow took place on October 9,
2009 at the Young Crew Workshop (http://www.youngcrew.de/web/workshop_2009_-_berlin_1245672261)
in Berlin for young professionals and students in the field of project
management. It lasted for three hours and received warm acceptance of
the participants. The second SoYouKnow workshop was conducted on
October 16, 2009 in Witzenhausen at the &amp;ldquo;Global Thinking  &amp;ndash; Local Responsibility (http://www.fh-fulda.de/fileadmin/IFBC/Bilder/2009_Conference/2009_IFBC-Conference_Speakers.pdf)&amp;rdquo; conference for the students of food business.  The event was again welcomed by the audience.

SoYouKnow, standing for Socialize Your Knowledge, is an interactive
and playful workshop format. During the event the participants have the
opportunity to share knowledge, communicate on the topic of soft skills
in project management and network with each other. The friendly
atmosphere of SoYouKnow creates not only meaningful knowledge exchange,
but also ground for dynamic and enjoyable learning. SocialDesignSite
team will continue working on the SoYouKnow format. The next workshop
will follow on November 13, 2009 in Vienna.
