i left this here for you to read (INT)

“i left this here for you to read” is a non-commercial, collaboratively-created handmade magazine.
About once or twice a month, they print 50 copies of a new issue of their magazine. Then they leave them in public places (such as on subway seats, on park benches, in dentist office waiting rooms, etc.) - after mailing two copies each to everyone who has helped out with that particular issue.

Anyone can join their organization. They can do so by submitting prose, poetry, fiction, images, or objects; or by helping to edit, produce, or distribute the magazine. Everyone who participates will receive full credit, and all creators retain full legal and copyrights to their work. They cannot send or sell you a copy, or reprint a past issue for you; the only way to receive one is to find it in public, or to help create or distribute it in the first place.

The magazine was originally started by artist Tim Devin in 2008, and now involves well over 100 people. To date, they’ve distributed their magazine in over 30 cities and towns in the US and Canada. Offshoot magazines have sprung up in several other US cities, as well as in Australia and in the Netherlands.

Would you like to participate in this organization? Fantastic! Email them at i.left.this.here@gmail.com, or visit: http://timdevin.com/ileftthishereforyoutoread.html.
