Suk-Han Tang
Suk-Han studied in London and graduated from Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication where she earned a degree in Product and Furniture Design having focused her studies and developped products in the field of sustainable
design. She joined the project in January 2007 as a researcher and designer. She's now responsible for the overall communication and strategic development of the project, and is as well working as a freelancer and consultant helping developping sustainable projects in Berlin.![]()
Research:
Joana Bértholo
Joana pursued her studies in Communication Design in the Fine Arts
Faculty at the University of Lisbon, where she focused on multimedia,
videography and photography. She worked as a graphic designer
and a photographer, but her main focus has been in research and
writing. Joana joined the SocialDesignSite in June 2007, where she
was in charge of designing the new website including it's most
recent navigation, and interactive collaborative features. She is now
responsible for the research and maintenance of the SocialDesignSite

Thomas Paalson & Dr. Louis Klein
Thomas and Louis were the initiators of this project, as a knowledge project of the Systemic Excellence Group .
Thomas Pålsson is a visual communication designer, and a graduate from Danmarks Designskole, Copenhagen, Denmark 2007. Thomas' work revolves around social design, both on a theoretical and practical level. Having completed a number of social design projects, Thomas became a key player in the conceptual development and initiation of the SocialDesignSite project in 2006. Thomas Pålsson continues to do research within the bubbling field of social design, while also initiating new social design projects in Denmark and elsewhere.
Dr. Louis Klein is working as an international
management consultant. He is owner manager of the Systemic Excellence
Group. Dr. Klein is a member of the German Society for Political
Consulting. His main interest is Organisational Excellence. He earned his Degree in Economics (Dipl. Ökonom); PhD in Sociology (Dr.
rer. soc.) As a researcher, Dr. Klein is a member of the Society for
Sociocybernetics, the International Sociological Association [ISA], and
the International Society for the System Science [ISSS]. Currently, he
is conducting research on the socio-technological performance of
post-modern organisations. The second edition of his book "Corporate
Consulting“ has just been published by Carl Auer.
Jan Lachenmayer
Jan is a graduate of Stuttgart University, where he earned his master's
degree in Political Science, majoring in macroeconomics and human
resource management. There he also achieved the "Certificate for
Intercultural Communicative Competence". Jan was one of the initial
promoters and developers of the SocialDesignSite, and helped make the
first event at the DesignMai 07 come true.
Aneta Nowobilska
Aneta finished her studies at Poznan University of Economics in Poland in
electronic business focussing in her master paper on online communities. Now
she is a student of Humboldt University in Berlin
where she continues her education in information technologies. She supported
SocialDesignSite in development of functionalities of the platform and by
organization of marketing activities aiming at community creation.
Sandra Vinh
Sandra grew up in
California. Before moving to Berlin, she lived in London to pursue
studies at King’s College London in Human Values and Global Ethics. Her
final topic was on gender equality issues in Thailand. She assisted the
SocialDesignSite as an editor, in 2007.
Errol Bailey
Errol, a native of the UK, pursued his studies at the University of
Surrey, Roehampton in Sociology and Spanish. He joined the
SocialDesignSite in September 2007 as a researcher in 2007 and is currently in charge of editing.
Christin Albert
Christin
studied Media Design and Art at Bauhaus University of Weimar
specialised in modes, trends and public appearances. She focuses her
work as a freelance graphic designer in conceptualization and visual
communication. Christin joined the SocialDesignSite in September 2007
supporting for public relations in Germany.
