Resist is a film to be released in 2009 with Gael Garcia Bernal. Resist is also a search for people who are instigating change from below, who are shifting our perspectives and inspiring new ways of thinking and acting. It explores the moment where people are declaring ‘there is a limit’.

Can they exist forever in a constant state of resistance? How do they simultaneously create alternatives to what is being resisted? Where do these alternatives come from? Where are they heading?

Economic Apartheid is the dominant system. Instability is the new norm. Walls are built from suburbia to borders to protect those in power from the chaos they themselves have caused, to keep the displaced and the poor away. The 21st century is not looking healthy.
