Theater That Educates About The Harmful Effects of Racism.
The Conciliation Project (TCP), is a nonprofit social justice organization that conducts theater performances concerning the harmful effects of racism.
Thinkhaus designed TCP's logo to portray the four parts of TCP's mission: Community, Creativity, History, and Transformation.
TCP mission promotes an open dialogue about racism in America to repair its damaging legacy. Each part of the mission is illustrated using an African symbol placed in a bar with a gap between them, symbolizing how racism divides people and cultures. The African symbols were used to show that the organization gains its creative inspiration from African culture and art.
The FF Cutout typeface was used in the design of the logo to mimic the hand-crafted sculpture qualities of African art.
