3FOUR50.com is an innovative awareness-raising, action-orientated website that brings together experts and activists to encourage healthy lifestyles and prevent the global epidemic of chronic disease. The site includes a network that facilitates conversation between those with an interest in confronting this epidemic. The site also produces weekly video news in chronic disease prevention, as well as blogs, photos, and showcases of projects contributed by users of the site.

The website is administered by the Oxford Health Alliance (OxHA), a UK-based charity with an extensive worldwide membership (including employers, governments, NGOs, businesses, urban planners, economists and young people), all committed to working together to find ways to make the healthy choices the easy choices. *The name 3FOUR50 is derived from the 3 risk factors (tobacco use, physical inactivity and poor diet), which cause four chronic diseases (cardiovascular disease, chronic lung disease, type 2 diabetes and many cancers) that account for well over 50% of the world’s deaths and disease burden.
