Nooventures is Wibowo Sulistio's personal mind ventures to identify the principles, elements and implementations of a civilization design that sustains life. He believe in the power of the mind to change our life and our world. Nooventures thus is inteded to be a compendium of ideas whose time has come.

The world we have at present is a result of undesigned or not-properly-designed systems and institutions that are eroding and destroying life, both humankind and non-humankind alike. We make rules and the rules make us. We make tools and we've become the tools of our tools. Our mind plays tricks on us.

Fortunately, more and more people in all walks of life are waking up to the grave crisis we are in. They even go steps further by actually doing things that alleviate parts of the problem. In a way, those people are designing elements of a larger design that can turn the tide of destruction to one that enrich and sustain life.

They are breaking free from the small confines of specialization and see problems in whole. They come up with solutions ranging from the tiny and personal, to the local and communal, through to the global and intergenerational. All, in my opinion is done with intention, the elan vital of design. A life-sustaining civilization design thus must be both technical and social by necessity.

This journey has only just begun. There are lots and lots of things to learn and do. It is Wibowo Sulistio's mental Everest. He hopes to learn from us all and give a little something in return for this collective endeavour.
